Maple House恒例の「ファミリーディナー」。今回はVirajが本格インドカレーをふるまうことに！
ところがスパイスや具材の違いで大騒動。文化や好みがぶつかり合い、最後は笑顔で食卓を囲みます。

Viraj:
Alright, everyone! Tonight, I’ll make my favorite chicken curry from India. I’ll need some special spices—did we manage to find everything?
（みんな！今日は僕の大好きなインドのチキンカレーを作るよ。特別なスパイスが必要なんだけど、全部そろった？）
Donny:
Uh… I went to the international market, but I wasn’t sure about a few of the names. Is this the “garam masala” you wanted?
（えっと…インターナショナルマーケットに行ったけど、名前がよくわからなくて。これがガラムマサラ？）
Viraj:
Let me see… Oh, this is cinnamon! Not quite, but we can work with it. Thanks for trying, Donny.
（見せて…あ、これはシナモンだ！ちょっと違うけど、なんとかなるよ。ありがとうドニー）
Taro:
I brought potatoes and carrots. Japanese curry always has these. Is it okay to put them in?
（僕はジャガイモとニンジンを持ってきたよ。日本のカレーは必ず入れるんだ。入れてもいい？）
Viraj:
Hmm, actually, Indian curry usually doesn’t have carrots, but I think we can try a fusion tonight!
（うーん、本場のインドカレーには普通は入れないけど、今夜はフュージョンでいこう！）
Magot:
I read online that some people put apples in curry for sweetness. I have an apple—should I chop it up?
（ネットで、カレーに甘みを出すためリンゴを入れる人もいるって読んだよ。私もリンゴあるけど、切ろうか？）
Donny:
Why not? This is going to be the most international curry ever. I’ll handle the rice. Does everyone want white or brown rice?
（いいじゃん！これまでで一番国際的なカレーになりそうだ。ご飯は僕がやるよ。白ご飯と玄米、どっちがいい？）
Taro:
I prefer white, but I can eat brown, too. Viraj, do you want help with anything else?
（僕は白ご飯が好きだけど、玄米でも大丈夫。Viraj、他に手伝うことある？）
Viraj:
Can you all taste the sauce and tell me if it’s too spicy? I might’ve added too much chili.
（みんな、ソースの味見してみて。辛すぎるかも。チリを入れすぎたかも…）
Magot:
Wow, that’s spicy! But delicious. Next time, maybe just a little less chili?
（うわ、辛い！でもおいしい。今度はチリをもう少し控えめにしよう？）
Viraj (laughing):
Deal! Thanks, everyone. I love how we mix all our cultures in one pot.
（そうしよう！みんなありがとう。みんなの文化が一つの鍋に混ざって最高だよ）
